Apple TV+ has released a trailer for it’s upcoming sci-fi mystery drama series, “Constellation,” featuring a stellar cast that includes Noomi Rapace, Jonathan Banks, and James D’Arcy.
Crafted by Peter Harness, the creative mind behind “Wallander,” the series introduces Rapace as Jo, an astronaut who returns to Earth following a catastrophic space mission. However, her homecoming is marred by a startling revelation – crucial fragments of her life are inexplicably missing, and the world around her has changed in ways she cannot fathom. Even her once-familiar daughter appears altered.
Simultaneously, a piece of technology from the ill-fated mission emerges, suggesting it may hold the key to Jo’s unanswered questions. As she embarks on a desperate quest to unravel the hidden history of space travel and reclaim all that she has lost, Jo delves into the enigmatic depths of human psychology.
Joining Rapace in this cosmic exploration are Julian Looman, William Catlett, Barbara Sukowa, and Rosie and Davina Coleman. The series is directed by Michelle MacLaren, Oliver Hirschbiegel, and Joseph Cedar.
“Constellation” premieres on Apple TV+ on February 21st.
