The Mallee Highway is under repair following a truck fire earlier this morning.
About 1.30am on Wednesday 12 February, police and emergency services were called to Mallee Highway at Elwomple after reports of a truck on fire.
When police arrived on scene the truck was well alight, it took about an hour for fire crews to control the blaze.

Fortunately, the driver of the truck was uninjured.
The incident is not believed to be suspicious.
The fire caused damage to the road and northbound traffic has been blocked whilst it is being repaired. SAPOL asks road users to take care.
