Murray Bridge has been revealed as one of the fastest growing destinations nationwide for city dwellers moving to the regions.
The latest Regional Movers Index, from the Regional Australia Institute, showed Murray Bridge sits in third for their 12-month growth (195.2%) for capital city to regional migration, as well as second for growth across the state for SA residents moving in.
The Alexandrina LGA however remains the most popular destination within South Australia, with the region taking in almost a quarter of all movers.

The movement from Adelaide to the regions did slow in the 12 months up until June, with just two percent of the nation’s relocators settling in regional SA, as compared to seven percent last year.
