A man from Murray Bridge has been arrested after SAPOL alleges he had equipment in his car to break into properties.
The driver was pulled over at 1am this morning, Thursday 20 February, with checks revealing the 46-year-old was driving unlicensed.
While speaking with the driver, an officer allegedly noticed a wooden baton in the car along with a full-face LED mask and bag containing screwdrivers and torches in the rear passenger footwell.
The man was arrested and charged with ‘going equipped to commit an offence’ and was issued a fine for driving unlicensed.
He was bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on 2 April.
