A Goolwa bakery that was seriously damaged when a car crashed through the window has announced it is reopening this weekend.
On the 27th of October, the window and shop front at Live ‘N’ Let Pie was seriously damaged after a vehicle reportedly veered off Hutchinson Street and slammed into the building.
A 62-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after she was pinned between the car and counter.
Several other workers and customers were showered with glass in the incident.
The driver, a 69-year-old local woman, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Owners have announced on social media that they will reopen tomorrow, Saturdaqy 16 November, from 8am.
“It’s been almost 3 weeks and we can’t wait to be back and open! To all the well wishers, hard working tradies, our wonderful suppliers and especially our staff that helped us get everything put back together,” they said on Facebook yesterday.
