A 69-year-old woman from Goolwa has been charged this week following last month’s crash at Live ‘N’ Let Pie.
Just before 11am on Sunday 27 October, emergency services were called to the bakery on Hutchinson Street at Goolwa after a car left the road and crashed into a bakery.
There were several people, including customers and staff, inside the shop at the time.
A 62-year-old woman, who was a customer inside the shop, was injured in the crash. She was taken to hospital by ambulance where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was taken to hospital as a precaution but did not appear physically injured.
SES crews attended and helped to shore up the structure while the car was towed from the scene.
On Monday 18 November, the driver, was reported for driving without due care. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
