The Adelaide Hills District could lose $1.7M a year in rates under a long sought out “land grab” by neighbouring Campbelltown City Council.

Campbelltown Council says the move is justified as the two suburbs are more aligned with the district, as residents use their roads, services and parks.

Hills CEO Greg Georgopoulos is against the plan, which he says could cost his council more than $1.7M per year from 570 homes.
