Rippers, Nippers on the River Programme

Surf Life Saving South Australia (SLSSA) is excited to announce the return of the successful
Rippers, Nippers on the River program in Murray Bridge for their second season.

Proudly supported by the South Australian Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing’s Active
State Collaboration Program, the Rippers program is a junior water safety initiative designed
for children aged five to twelve. This engaging program helps children develop essential
water safety skills, build confidence and form lifelong friendships in a fun and educational
environment.
Building on the success of its inaugural season, which saw 70 local children participate in an
eight-week program, SLSSA is excited to deepen its impact in the Murray Bridge Community
this year.
By equipping children with essential water safety skills, we are fostering safer
communities and a lifelong respect for the water.

The Rippers program will run weekly on Friday afternoons from 07 February 2025 until 28
March 2025 at the Murraylands Aquatic Centre, Murray Bridge.
