MURRAY TOWNS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)
Monarto has tightened the race for finals in the Murray Towns Cricket Association, after they beat Meningie by seven wickets on Saturday as part of Round 9 action.
The Blackcaps made light work of their chase of 145 thanks to an unbeaten 57 from captain Ty Pfeiffer, and while they still sit fifth after the win, they are now only two games back of second.
Elsewhere, Mypolonga remained undefeated with a 102-run win over Mannum, while the Wanderers beat Tailem Bend by five wickets.

Two enormous centuries headlined another busy Saturday of action in the Great Southern Cricket Association, with Day One of Round 6 offering plenty to talk about.
Encounter Bay’s Sam Hoffmann made 161 and Myponga-Sellicks’ Michael Tomlinson made 140, to guide their sides into commanding positions.
The match of the round however still remains up in the air, with Goolwa finishing 7/187 against Noarlunga.

Langhorne Creek have fired a shot back in their top-of-the-table rivalry with Lobethal in the Alexandra and Eastern Hills Cricket Association on Saturday, winning by 54 runs after a huge partnership between Adam Clements and Ben Warren.
It means both sides now sit at 7-2 at the halfway point of the season.
The other notable result came from Nairne, where the Razorbacks lost ground on the top four by handing Macclesfield their first win of the year in a big upset.
Over in the Hills, Bridgewater and Mount Lofty claimed wins and now lead their pools after a busy 2nd round of Twenty20 action.
