There’s a huge community event calendar for the 2024 silly season in the Murraylands, Adelaide Hills and South Coast.

Friday 15th & Saturday 16th November

- Murray Bridge Riverfront Christmas Festival
- A free two-day event on the banks of Sturt Reserve at Murray Bridge 5pm-9pm Friday 15th November and 11am-9pm Saturday 16th November.
- Christmas Parade on Saturday from 4pm and Spry Civil Construction sky show from 9pm.
Saturday 30th November
- Balhannah/Oakbank Community Carols
- Oakbank School Hall. Family Fun starts at 5.00pm with FREE face painting, rock climbing wall and an obstacle course for younger children. Sausage sizzle and desserts to purchase. Carols begin at 6.30pm with a live band and high quality local talent.
Sunday 1st December
- Stirling Christmas Pageant
- 11am – 3pm floats start in Druid Ave and make their way to the Stirling Oval for an afternoon of live music, free kids craft, sideshow rides, camel rides, animal nursery, a delicious range of food and market stalls.
- Meningie Christmas Pageant 2024
- For the first time in five years Meningie will host a Christmas pageant. From 4pm the parade will start on Fiebig Road through Narrung Road to Forbes Street up to Jallarah Homes, down West Tce.
- A Fair at the Meningie Football Oval with jumping castles, climbing walls, face painting, horse rides, stalls, entertainment, live music and Christmas carols.
- Meadows Carols in the Park 2024
- Battunga Park in Meadows, activities from 5pm, carols from 6pm.

Saturday 7th December
- Lights of Lobethal Festival
- The largest community-run lights display in the Southern Hemisphere! It starts on the 7th and runs through to 22 December.
- Mount Barker Christmas Pageant
- The parade will leave the Mt Barker Recreation Centre / oval on Alexandrina Rd at 10.30am, travelling through the town and finishing in Walker Street.
- Mannum Christmas Pageant
- Randell Street, Mannum. Roads close at 4pm, event starts at 5pm with a 6pm pageant and 9pm fireworks display.
- Carols on the Lawn, Stirling
- Family fun from 5pm with a free food, petting zoo, fairy floss and hot drinks to order. The Carols begin at 6.30pm with the talented band leading some great Christmas songs, and a cracker of a Christmas message. BYO picnic blankets.
Thursday 12th December
- Woodside Christmas Pageant
- 6pm til 9.30pm. Markets, fireworks and family friendly activities.
Friday 13th December

- Christmas Where the Angas Flows in Strathalbyn
- Free event. Market from 2pm. Pageant from 6pm. Carols and entertainment from 7.30pm and fireworks from 9.30pm.
Saturday 16th December
- Tailem Bend Pageant
- Festivities on Willow Street from 4.30pm, parade from 6pm. Stalls, food, free entertainment and a Meet & Greet with Santa.
- Victor Harbor Pageant & Carols by the Sea
- Free parade from 5pm, followed by Carols
- Nairne Community Carols
- Gates open 5pm. Music from 6pm. Hosted by ARN’s Adam Connelly and Jennie Lenman with Pastor Mike Stoodley. Local musicians and singers, Father Christmas, free face painting and food vendors. BYO picnic blankets and chairs. Gold coin donation welcome.
Sunday 15th December
- Goolwa’s Pageant and Christmas Concert
- From 5pm to 9pm along the main street of Goolwa followed by Goolwa Christmas Concert at the Goolwa Oval Recreation Precinct.
- Santa’s Mount Compass Street Sleigh Ride & Carols Evening
- Mount Compass War Memorial Community Centre. Santa in his sleigh, accompanied by the CFS, will ride the streets from 4.30pm. Santa is scheduled to arrive at the Community Centre by 6.30pm with carols starting at 7pm.

Tuesday 17th December
- Port Elliot Carols in the Park
- Event happening at the Town Square. More informatin to come.
Sunday 22nd December
- Closing of the Lights of Lobethal Festival
- The last day to see the largest community-run lights display in the Southern Hemisphere!

- Lobethal Pageant
- Lobethal’s Main Street will come alive with the spirit of Christmas as the community (and Santa! shhhhh) come together to celebrate the Annual Christmas Pageant Parade.
