Noarlunga and Port Elliot have made big statements to state their claims as premiership favourites on Day Two of Round Three action in the Great Southern Cricket Association on Saturday.
Noarlunga comfortably held defending champions Encounter Bay at arm’s length to win by 149 runs, while Port Elliot took their chance and defeated Willunga outright, winning by nine wickets.
Elsewhere, Myponga-Sellicks also won outright against Victor Harbor, winning by an innings and 36 runs.

Stirling has moved to the top of the Hills Cricket Association after four rounds, after they cruised past defending champions Scott Creek Ironbank on Saturday to leapfrog them.
Stirling bowled well across the board to hold the Bankers to 133, before they comfortably reached the target with seven wickets in hand.
Other matches in the Hills saw Mount Lofty, Aldgate and Bridgewater take the points.

Hahndorf’s surprise hot start to the season has come crashing down, after Woodside breezed to a seven-wicket win against them on Saturday in Round Four action.
Batting first, Hahndorf fell victim to inspired bowling from Woodside’s Shane Drewitt (4/12) and Jeremy Drewitt (4/46), keeping them to just 112.
Elsewhere, Langhorne Creek tallied a key win against Nairne, while Lobethal and Bremer Callington also came out on top.

Mypolonga’s ominous early season form in the Murray Towns Cricket Association has continued on Saturday, as they made light work of Mannum in their grand final rematch.
Sam Elliot and Aaron Zrim both took identical figures of 4/16 off 9 overs to dismiss the Kookaburras for just 87, well short of their target of 203.
Other matches from the round saw the Wanderers beat Tailem Bend by 10 wickets thanks to an unbeaten 125 from Ben Trenorden and Monarto held on in a thriller to beat Meningie by just two runs.
