Encounter Bay have launched back to the top of the Great Southern Cricket Association table with one round to play, after beating McLaren Districts outright on Saturday.
After making 225 last week, the Eagles bowled the Crushers out for 94 and then 54 in their second innings, winning by an innings and 77 runs to propel themselves into first.
Other key results from the round saw the finals picture tighten up, with Noarlunga and Goolwa both winning by 6 wickets against teams in the top three to close the gap.

A huge Saturday of upsets has further turned the Hills Cricket Association upside down once more, with just two games separating first and seventh with four rounds left to play.
Last-placed Bridgewater’s 7-wicket win over contenders Scott Creek Ironbank headlined a stunning day, with Jarrad Tait and Ty Watson making unbeaten half centuries to cause one of the season’s biggest upsets.
Meadows, Mylor and Stirling all beat teams above them as well, further compresses an already tight finals race.

Mypolonga have firmed as favourites in the Murray Towns Cricket Association on Saturday, beating their main challenger in Mannum by five wickets in Round 14 action.
Two stalwarts of the league in Dwayne Krollig and Aaron Zrim made half centuries for their respective sides in the entertaining contest.
Other results saw Meningie take a huge step to getting into the finals, leapfrogging Monarto into fourth with a 49-run win, while the Wanderers smashed Tailem Bend by 175 runs.

Nairne has beaten Lobethal for the second time in three days, this time winning by a single run in a heartstopper finish to their top-four clash.
Needing 169 to win, Lobethal fell just short thanks to the efforts of Caleb Walker, who picked up 5/25 with the ball for Nairne in the thriller.
Other results saw Langhorne Creek and Strathalbyn continue their strong form ahead of finals, while Hahndorf picked up a rare win over Macclesfield.
