A 30 tonne crane has caught fire in Mount Compass this morning.
Four CFS crews responded to a fire in the engine of a crane being carried by a truck, with the vehicle stopping on the corner of Tay Road and Victor Harbor Road just after 10:30am.
The attending units were able to contain the fire quickly, which prevented any further damage to the crane.

CFS crews and SA Police have remained on scene to assist with traffic control until the crane can be relocated, along with diesel cleanup.
